Right now I am interested in Realism.  This is the diner series.  One Thanksgiving my sister-in-law brought an apple pie I thought should be immortalized.  It was such fun to do, I just kept trying items off a diner’s menu.  You know, comfort food.

Artists have been painting still lifes for hundreds of years.  They painted food that was around them; wine, cheese, bread.  I thought I’d give it a try with the food that is around us.
